Graces
Rosson House Museum volunteer learns to play Graces so she can help others at our Summer Games 2012. Graces was a popular game for girls in about the 1830s. You play with two people. Each person has two sticks. The object of the game is to send flying one to three wood hoops while the other person tries to catch them with her sticks. Each captured hoop is one point. The first person to score ten points wins. This game is a little early for our history site, but I had the games in my supplies. So, we’re playing them tomorrow.
